There is an update for the Fuelpak FP3 app version 3.2.2. Say there's a auto tune fix and improved Bluetooth connectivity. It doesn't specify what the issues were exactly. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk. The Fuelpak FP3 is the best-selling ECU tuner in the world for Harley-Davidson motorcycles because it is the most intuitive tool on the market, giving you the power to control every aspect of your motorcycle’s tune, view live sensor data, calibrate your speedometer, read and clear trouble codes, utilize a live sensor data display, and offers best in industry support from our FP3 technicians. Sep 03, 2015 Like a Dyno, the Auto-tune Process uses RPM’s and Throttle Position ( TPS% ) to learn all it can about your bike and how to tune it. A Dyno-run takes several hours, running through the RPM’s from idle to Wide Open throttle with all varying throttle positions, 0-5% ( idle ) to 100% ( wide open ). Podcast-This episode is dedicated to breaking down the Vance & Hines Fuelpak 3 motorcycle electronic fuel injection (EFI) tuner. We have tested this motorcycle EFI tuner on multiple 2014 and newer Harley Davidson motorcycles for many months now. Oscar is on hand in this episode to dive into the technical aspects. We break it down into an easy to understand guide for bikers/motorcyclists out there.
This is a follow-up to podcast episode #81 where we talked about the Dynojet Power Vision vs. the Fuelpak 3. Admittedly, on that episode we stated that we were further testing the Fuelpak 3. Wow, we have learned much more about this EFI tuner since then and we wanted to share it all with you.

As we have said many times in the past, if you change the pipes, mufflers, or air intake on your Harley Davidson like so many do, then you will need to tune your electronic fuel injection for optimum performance. And we think the Fuelpak 3 is a very good option for bikers to do so.
This little compact EFI tuner packs a big punch and no install of larger O2 sensors is needed! It tunes off the stock 12mm O2 sensors that come stock on Harley Davidson's. There are no extra wires running up your bars to a head unit, as everything runs via bluetooth to an app on your smartphone!
Don't waste your money having a dealership tune your Harley's EFI. All they will do is charge you $250-$300 for 5 minutes time and give your bike a one time basic EFI map. And if you change any little thing in the future you will be back paying another $250! With aftermarket tuners such as the FP3 you can change anything you want and just remap anytime you want.
The FP3 is super easy to install with our Free Fuelpak 3 Install & Auto Tuning Video. We show you how to use & set up the free very intuitive V&H FP3 smartphone app. Additionally, we show you how to flash the engine control module (ECM) on your Harley directly from the app and run auto tune sessions to program your EFI further if you want. You will be up and running on no time at all. We made this video for every day bikers in an easy to understand format.
Understand that the Fuelpak 3 is as capable as any other motorcycle EFI tuners on the market at this tim in our opinion. And we have done much testing and real world use of many EFI tuners. If you are an advanced user and want to manually enter values into the FP3 then you can. Oscar can get really technical with the FP3. I on the other hand use it for a simple EFI map download and auto tune sessions. And I love viewing real-time engine data within the smartphone app.

This is just a snippet of what we actually talk about in this episode, so take a listen if you want to know everything there is to know about the Vance & Hines Fuelpak 3. It gets our full recommendation after much use and testing!

Love the FP3!
We totally recommend the Fuelpak 3. It is the easiest motorcycle EFI tuner to install on your Harley and you can be up and running in no time. No hassling with extra wires as it runs via bluetooth using your smartphone & a free app. No installing larger O2 sensors as it uses the stock Harley sensors and algorithms to tune.
The free smartphone app is super stable and intuitive. With our free install video you will fully understand how to set up and get going with the FP3 in no time at all.
The FP3 was well thought out and is so much easier to use than other EFI tuners out on the market in our opinion. You won't be disappointed.
We feel the FP3 is reasonably priced considering its power and functionality. Other EFI tuners are much more expensive yet offer nothing more than the FP3.
Installing a performance exhaust system is only your first step. Now, you need fuel management. You need Fuelpak.
Your fuel injected Harley Davidson is equipped with an ECU (electronic control unit) that's programmed to deliver fuel to the motor based on an air/fuel ratio for a stock air filter and stock exhaust system. While the ECU can self-adjust for environmental factors such as temperature and altitude, it can't adjust for mechanical changes like adding performance parts. When you install a performance exhaust system, your airflow changes, so you need a fuel management system that adjusts your air/fuel ratio to match the changes. That fuel management system is Fuelpak. The perfect combination with your performance exhaust system.
Ahead of the competition, Fuelpak is the most advanced system of it's type. Nothing will compare.
As shown in the illustration, your stock air/fuel ratio runs just slightly lean, however, when you install an aftermarket exhaust, that ratio changes, becoming even leaner. The white dashed line reflects the baseline air/fuel ratio and where you want to be for optimum throttle response. Unlike other fuel management systems that can only add fuel, Fuelpak adds and takes away fuel, allowing for a more precise range of refinement in your air/fuel ratio. Designed and manufactured entirely in-house, our technical staff is constantly at work developing custom fuel maps for popular brands.
Don't settle for a system that is difficult to install. Afterall, you want to focus on what you enjoy most. Riding.
When our engineering staff designed Fuelpak, the focus was on making installation and use as simple as possible. Fuelpak plugs directly into the factory wiring harness and ECU using a t-tap and OEM style connectors to stay fastened securely to your bike. Fuelpak fits so discreetly that, with the exception of the improved throttle response and rideability, you won't even know it's there. And should you ever remove Fuelpak, your motorcycle will return to operating at it's original factory settings.
No computers needed, no need to tune on a dyno. We did all the hard work for you.
Once the Fuelpak is installed, locate your fuel map from the setting chart provided or look it up here. Next, wth the ignition turned on, enter the values for your specific map directly into Fuelpak and calibrate your TPS (throttle position sensor). Finally, shut off the ignition, put the cover back on and you're ready to ride. That's the beauty of Fuelpak, you don't need to use a computer or tune on a dyno because the settings you enter are the result of our extensive dyno and road testing to find the ideal fuel map for your Harley.
